Wiki General posting question on CPT 20931

With CPT 20931 only being allowed to be billed once in a session, what would an assistant surgeon bill? Our editing software is denying the 20931-80 since 20931 is already billed with the primary surgeon.

For assistants, it has a 1=Statutory payment restriction for assistants at surgery applies to this procedure, which I believe means that you cannot bill an assistant surgeon for this code.

Yes. Mod 80 isn't allowed. (I didn't find that out until after I posted the question.)
