Can anyone enlighten me regarding the average number of cases or charts a radiology coder might be expected to code per hour or per day? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

hi mike. a general quota we have is 50 per hour. that includes all the different modalities, taking into account some info might have to be referenced from the emr. we code from an online queque, and do not have direct access to the records from the application we use.
