If anyone could assist me in coding this it would be greatly appreciated. I am not sure what codes should be billed for maximum reimbursement.

The patient presented in the emergency room with severe abdominal pain, leukocytosis, and strangulated ventral incisional hernia. The physician performed a hernia repair, laparotomy with lysis of adhesions, partial omenectomy, and bilateral abdominal wall component separation with abdominal wall construction using biologic mesh (Veritas).

Thank you for any help!!

Bill:
15734-50 Bilateral component seperation (check the carrier some like it as 15734-RT, 15734-LT)
49561 (rpr initial incisional/ventral hernia incarcerated) you did not state intial or recurrent. If recurrent hernia, use 49566
49568- Implantation of mesh

Do not bill: 49255 Omenentectomy and 44005 LOA. These codes are bundled.
