I am really hoping someone can direct me to billing/coding pacs (picture archiving and communication system). My general surgeon for endo is very difficult and has asked me a question that I know nothing about. I am billing for him the port placement 36561 and the 77001-26 fluoroscopy guidance and here is his question "I also sent images to radiology while I was in the OR to be uploaded to the PACS system that were formally read. Does having done that prohibit me from billing it if they bill having read the images as well".

I can not find any guidelines for billing this.

Would so appreciate some help out there.
