:confused:In our practice we have genetic counselors that sees patients during their genetic counseling visit, and those services get billed utilizing 96040 for the initial visit. However, the patient is unable to make it to their follow up appointment and calls into the office to see if she can obtain the results over the telephone.

Are we able to utilize the 98966-98968 sets of codes due to the patient initiating the phone call and the genetic counselor is doing an assesment/management of the patient over the phone.
