I am wondering if any practices are doing genetic testing to see if patients are at risk of certain cardiac disorders that might be able to help me out.

One of our physicians is stating that if we do not start to do genetic testing Medicare is not going to pay for some of the patients prescriptions. We are located in Pennsylvania; Novitas is our Medicare carrier.

I have not heard this but I have not really researched it either. I am looking for any assistance or guidance as to where to start.
