Hi All,
We are researching the billing of 0206T - 0206T Computerized database analysis of multiple cycles of digitized cardiac electrical data from two or more ECG leads, including transmission to a remote center, application of multiple nonlinear mathematical transformations, with coronary artery obstruction severity assessment and codes
Our first claim was denied by Medicare because of medical necessity (CO-50) and because the information provided doesn't substantiate the need for the service (M25). We completed a 1st level appeal which included the ED notes and it was unfavorable. We also included a letter which further explained this technology.
Any known tricks out there for getting 0206T paid by Medicare?
