Has anyone encountered a situation where the primary commercial insurance wants a global delivery code that includes antepartum care but the secondary (CareSource) wants a delivery only code. How do you go about billing the secondary when the primary left a deductible?? Thanks
 
We also deal with Caresource and other MCD plans. We manually change this on our print out of the claim and send in the primary's EOB. It will process.
 
Yes! We've found that with most medicaid plans, they want to see each individual prenatal visit billed and then the non-global delivery code.
We submit each of the prenatal visits with the EOB from the primary carrier for the global delivery and that seems to get them paid.
