A patient had ESWL 20 days ago by our urologist and was in the hospital for another reason but while in the hospital she experienced pain that ended up being a kidney stone again in the same area (same side) Our office was requested to see patient. Would our urologist be able to bill the initial visit and subsequent visit since this is still in global (90 days) for kidney stone? I understand global for office visit but was not sure if hospital charges were treated the same way. Thanks
