I am wondering how many cardiology coders would find a 90 day global period APP for their smart phone to be helpful. You just enter the date of surgery and the end date of the global period shows immediately. Please, if you can take a moment to let me know if this is something you would use, I would greatly appreciate it!
 
I don't feel I would use it. Having worked Cardio enough, I either know what has a 90 day global or I look on the CMS fee schedule. Also the system I use already flashes a pop-up box of any active global on the patient. Wouldn't be interested in hauling out another device to check.
