when pts come to the ER for repacking of abscess and the I&D was done in our ER we don't give an ER level if it is within the 10 day global period right, if thats all they come for?..thanks alice

if you are coding for the facility then you could charge an E&M level for the facility claim as global does not apply to the facility.
