So this might seem kind of dumb....
But if a patient's global ends on 4/27/14 and they are seen 4/28/14, would i do the 99024? or an office visit? i mean 4/27 was on a sunday.... but just a day?

It would depend, logically if that was the date due to the patient being unable to schedule any other day due to conflicts then I would do it as a global, if the patient requested the visit as an unanticipated encounter then I would bill it as a regular encounter.

If the office visit is not related to the global procedure and document supports it you can bill the regular office visit with modifier 24
