I have a physician who is questioning the global surgical package. He is an ENT provider. He stated that there may be instances were he decides to perfom a myringotomy/ or other procedures on a patient but when they return for the pre-op visit. He deicdes that the patient no longer needs the surgery for whatever reason. He is questioning if he can bill for this visit because he has cancelled/ decided againsit the surgery. Please advise.
