Pt has trial stimulator that fails...during global period doc sets up a new plan of care..is that E/M billable with a 24 modifier since treatment is new but still related to dx issue?
 
I would expect this to be global to the procedure. If the patient is going back to the OR for the complication, you'd bill with modifier 78.
