I have an opportunity to work in a government facility coding everything from physicians ; hospital and outpatient surgery cases.

I have never worked for a government facility and I am pretty sure there are some differences.

Can anyone give me some advice and places to look so that I can prepare ?

I would appreciate it so much !
Thanks!

Marie

Yes there are a lot of Differances, they have there own rules . You will be given a copy of the DOD guidlines when you start. You will get to keep them. I'm sure there will be someone to guide you along.

You will learn as you go pretty much, not much prepairing ahead of time.
