Wiki Gov't Shut Down and MN Healthcare programs

Does anybody know IF there is a governement shut down will that affect the MN healthcare programs? Will there be coverage? I would think not but I want to double check.

we were told that if the govt shuts down july 1st all non-essential services will be shut down as well....it is likely that some if not all mn govt funded medical services will be classified as non-essential. this means that the payments for pt in programs medicaid and mincare will be delayed by weeks or months
