Hello fellow coders, Having a discussion at work regarding Grand mal Status and when to use that code. Have a specific chart that the Dr states Grand mal Status both in the assessment and the PMH. Also, Epilipsy and recurrent seizures is stated in both places as well. Pts last seizure was 2 yrs ago and is on Keppra.

Should we code the 345.3 or 345.10 and would we also code the 345.80 for the recurrent seizures.
