I appreciate any input you all have. This is the first report like this I've come across, and it's making me crazy!

The note says: The granuloma with a chronic lined tract is excised completely down along the anterior abdominal wall, coursing posteriorly and superiorly. The entire tract, which is lined with long frond of granulation tissue is excised down to fresh fatty subcutaneous tissue. The fascia was exposed and small portion of fascia was excised at the granuloma as well as possibly there is a suture granuloma at the fascia and for this reason, a small portion of fascia was removed. The patient tolerated the procedure well. The wound was packed with gauze.

I'm leaning toward using musculoskeletal code, but I'm not sure if I'm on the right track. I'm probably overthinking it!

Thanks for the help.
