Wiki graves disease and thyroid nodule

Have seen 242.00 (graves disease) and 241.0 (non toxic nodular goiter) coded together. This Dr says the thyroid nodule is not toxic so he does not think calling this a toxic goiter is quite correct. These two codes do not seem to go together. Would 242.30 cover the two conditions or is it appropriate to code them seperately?
