Wiki great toe interphalangeal exostectomy

The provider did an excision of a spur on the great toe and chose 28124. I disagree with this code because the description states 'craterization, saucerization, sequestrectomy, or diaphysectomy'. I like the code 28108,except it is for a bone cyst or tumor. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.

What was the reason for the procedure? Header? Is that all that was done, or anything else at the same time?
There is a note on 28108 that says (for partial excision or exostosis for phalanx in the foot, use 28124).
Did he call it an exostosis? Also might consider 28160 depending on if more to the op note or not.

Thank you for your help. I went with 28124, he did call it exostosis and it was the only procedure.
