Patient had a groin duplex ultrasound to f/u an AV fistula. Rpt states that "the arterial and venous vasulature of the groin are examined by two-dimensional imaging, color flow and pulsed spectral Doppler waveform analysis." Structures viewed were Rt Leg common femoral artery, profunda, superficial femoral artery, common femoral vein, greater saphenous vein and AV fistula. I am thinking that correct codes for this are 93926 and 93971. Can anyone please help confirm? Our clinic just started doing these.
Thanks, Amanda
