So this coding problem had no confirmed diagnosis, just cough as the sign/symptom. So I submitted R05. And the practicode dinged me on that anyway...?! It says the correct ICD-10 code is...R05. What?! Sorry, guess I'm just blowing off steam. Taking this seriously enough to be irritated at the program playing games with me. I thought I saw someone say practicode is known to make its own errors.

When did you purchase the PractiCode? R05 is no longer a valid code with the new code set. I'm surprised the end result is even telling you that it's correct.

Last February, with my certification program. I haven't had time to finish it until now.
I would say this may be an issue with Practicode and I would contact AAPC about this. R05 is no longer a valid code, if you have a chance to read through the updates on the ICD codes, then I'd do that as well.
