Can someone please provide me with a web site I can go to and get the Federal, Legislative, Executive and Judicial guidelines for coding. I am trying to justify payment of claims while an edit from McKesson is denying the claim. In addition to the CMS website and the CCI website, I would check with the payer to see if they have specific guidelines regarding certain codes submitted for reimbursment. I have found when I receive a denial from a carrier I will actually go to their website first and pull the guidelines up from them and then if needed go to the CMS and/or CMS website. Good Luck!
