Hello, could someone please answer this question. 21 year old pt presents for gyn exam, she had a physical a few weeks ago, and presents for a pap today. The dx code is V72.31, the provider coded the visit 99213, I am unable to use the prevent code because it was used on the prior visit. Is 99213 an acceptable code for this visit?
