I was wondering if anyone has this issue. The codes I am looking at represent "Mental Health" 96150-96155 as my first choice. Then there is the psychotherapy 90804-90809. My opinion is that these are considered Mental Health. Some folks have problems due to medications causing decreased libido, and other enviromental factors. The E&M codes need 2 of 3 key components with a medical exam not necessarily needed. Looking for various opinions. Thanks.

Would need to know more about how the visit would take place. Is this a licensed provider? Is there some sort of testing? Is it basically a discussion? If there is treatment prescribed, what kind of treatment options are there? Need more information before I could give an informed opinion on coding.
