We have a Medicare patient that is requesting to receive only a half dose of the flu vaccination. She has had some type of reaction in the past from full dosage. According to the HCPCS book there is no stated dosage requirements for Q2039, like there are with some medications. Can we bill for a full dose? or do we not bill at all? I have never experienced this before.
