Normally the adjustments are done in the office, and I know they are not billable (just factored into the E & M level),but I have a patient that was admitted to the hospital, and the halo adjustment was done in the OR under anesthesia. Is there any way to bill for this, or would it just be unlisted or not billable at all?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Unlisted

You'll have to use an unlisted code. As long as you have documentation that supports the medical necessity of taking the patient to the OR and performing this under anesthesia you should be able to support the bill.

Hope that helps.
