Our doctor did the following procedure, I am not very good with hand surgeries considering how many codes there are. I am also a bit confused on how to tell if they are primary or not. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Operation performed: 1)Repair of extensor hood subluxating extensor tendon, right 5th metacarpophalangeal joint, with repair of the radial portion of the metacarpophalangeal joint capsule
2)Repair of traumatic extensor tendon laceration of the extensor digiti minimi tendon and extensor digitorum communis tendon to the right small finger. The repair is at zone 3 over the metacarpophalangeal joint and over the 5th metacarpal region.
