I have a surgery titled "Hartman II". I do not have the op yet but wanted to see if anyone had heard of this type of procedure. Thanks.
 
I have been coding general surgery for over 25 years and have never heard of a Hartmann II procedure. That does not mean there could not be one, and when you find out what it is I would be very interested to know what the procedure is. :confused:

Unless they were describing how the procedure was done, I've seen colectomys with this type of description.
