For a RADV audit can you code a 447.1 as a valid diagnosis when the cardiac cath shows 90% stenosis of a coronary. Thanks for any information
 
No. You could only use this code if the physician documents, "stricture of artery". In this case, I would look to CAD (414.01) as the primary HCC code as the patient how has CAD with the 90% blockage.
