I am desperately wanting to learn ALL I can about HCC coding but cant find a darn thing on the net! Does anyone have any information they CAN share or would be WILLING to share about this?? Thank you in advance to all who respond!! CODERS are suppose to stick together....right!!?? :confused:
 
HCC coding is simply DX coding. the links above will guide you to the documents to determine if the DX code has a risk adjustment, but they are complicated to understand. allow yourself plenty of time to absorb the infromation. Your best bet is to try to find a Medicare advantage plan in your area and try to connect with a coder or educator from the plan.
