A patient was diagnosed with an amputation of the 2nd and 3rd fingers at the PIP joint level. The patient had a body powered prosthetic device for a partial hand amputation involving index and middle fingers, and the patient was provided with 2 body powered articulating fingers, attached to a glove to assist with improving difficulty gripping household objects including eating utensils, cleaning, etc. We determined L6010 is the appropriate HCPCS code. We are unsure if L6715 would also apply per finger, or not. Thank you
