Hello I am trying to find any documentation showing the rules for billing the HCPCS units. Some of our vendors bundle the implants into one price on the invoice. What I need to know when billing it do I count it as a unit of one or do I need to bill count each implant in the bundle and bill that quantity? Thank you
 
I bill for surgical implants as a unit of 1 as the vendor provides implant logs with each item listed. It also depends on the payers . The code I use 99% of the time is C1713 and in an ASC setting. Hopefully this helps?
