Our office has just started May 1st accepting Hnet Mcal pediatrics patients. We are understanding that we cannot bill for vaccines under the VFC (vaccine for children program). However we can bill for 1 administration of vaccine code. Is this correct?
When a patient comes in for a doctor appt we use the 90460/90461 admin codes. For nurse visit we use the 90471/90472 admin codes. So if a patient sees the doctor and gets several shots can we use the 90460 once?,,,and if they see the nurse for shots can we use the 90471 once?. Thanks,,,any help with this is appreciated.
