Hello

A little confused, getting use to learning how to code for annual routine Child health exam. I been told we can and cannot code 99173 & 92551 with 99392-99394, what is the correct answer?

Can we bill for the separate screenings during their annual health exam ?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, you can bill separately for screenings and assessments during a well-child exam. In Mississippi BCBS of MS will not cover 99173 & 92551 separately they claim it is part of the exam but Medicaid and other payers will cover them separately.
