Hello! I just starting the CPC training program and finding it very interesting.
After working 25+ years with various special populations (developmental disabilities, people with mental illness and general neuro) in different settings and roles, I have decided to look at non-direct patient care roles in healthcare and thought coding would be a good fit. A little nervous about finding a job once I'm done the course after reading the job hunting part of the forum, but hoping my years in healthcare will help a little with that.
