I am having a difficult time in determining what codes do you bill for cystic fibrosis carrier testing in pregnancy. Is there a difference when you have low risk versus high risk? ACMG and ACOG appear to recommend a panel of 23. I am looking at 13 different codes that are billed with one code (83896) which was billed with a quantity of 62.
