Wiki Help coding Arthrograms of hip

The orthopedic surgeon I work for has been going to the hospital and doing Arthrogram of the hip. He feels we should be coding 27093 and 73525. Insuance companys are denying 73525 for place of service. Any suggestions???

what are you using for POS? Are you including the 26 modifier?

forgot to add modifier but was using outpatient hospital for POS.

did you forget the modifier on the claim or on the post? I can see it being denied for POS if you did not submit the 26 on the claim.
