Hi just wondereing if someone would be able to help me code the following:
Excision of 5 x 3 cm mass lower back. Transverse incision made through the skin and Subcu. tissue overlying palpable mass. Drain placed. Subcu closed with 2-O and skin closed with skin staples.
Path: Portions of adipose tissue, consistent with Lipoma
Hospital coded this as follows: 11406 and 12032 I wanted to use CPT: 21931
Please help which is correct?
