Please help w/ coding scenario:

Successful percutaneous intervention using bare metal stent on mid LAD lesion, 70% to 0% psot PCI.
Angiography of the right external iliac artery with first order right common femoral artery angiography.

I think we need more information. 92980- LD is the code for stent placement. You may be able to bill any diagnostic procedures to determine the need for the stent. I have found most of the time when an injection of dye is performed after a cath. at the site of access it is done for placement of a closure device. If this is the case we just code for the placement of the device and not the angiography.
