Wiki Help!! Denial of 2 codes- Ugh.

CCI edits have taken 22630 and 63047 and will not pay for them when billed together. My doctors use these 2 codes often. What should I do? Any input is appriciated! Thanks.
 
Just make sure the dr is doing the laminectomy (63047) for purposes of decompression not simply for access to the interspace. If he is doing the lami for access to the interspace it is bundled with 22630. If he is doing for purposes of decompression and it is clearly documentated you can bill separately with a 59.
