I am a coder for an Anesthesia company...My Dr documented he did an Exam under Anesthesia for a Inguinal hernia, but no actual procedure was done. Diagnosis was inguinal hernia...how do I code this? I cant find just a basic code for an exam under anesthesia
 
Dr. was planning on fixing a hydorcele, but when he got into the OR (after the patient was already asleep) he figured out it was a hernia, not a hydrocele, so he didn't end up doing anything....
