Hello~~
Could anyone advise me how the doctor perform a PCI procedure by looking at previous/old angiogram?
I coded a report with only 92928 because angiogram (93454) was done the previous day.....why not do PCI procedure and angiogram the same day??

Thank you very much in advance.

Usually when this happens with my providers it is because they want to wait until the pateint is stabilized before they perform the procedure.

The patient could be in shock, acute renal failure, having a hypertensive crisis, having a CVA, have something broken that needs to be fixed first, etc. so the provider decides to wait until the pateint is stable before performing the procedure.
