I am new to surgical coding and I am trying to code :
exploratory laparotomy with resection of perforated colon and low pelvis anastomosis and redo of low pelvic anastomosis. This is done 3 days after a laparoscopic left colectomy.
6 days after that, she was taken back to the OR for laparoscopic drainage of pelvic hematoma (20 ml) which was evacuated using suction and also aspiration of another fluid collection which appeared to be fat necrosis.
I had a copy of op report but it won't fit on the forum. so does anyone have ideas?
