Hello,
I own a small medical billing company and recently have uncovered a massive issue with a clients previous billing. Upon finding the first couple of issues, I started a full audit of all billing done by the previous company. Unfortunately, the audit has discovered many billing errors such as wrong rendering provider being billed, dates of services that didn't happen, wrong codes being billed, etc. I don't have the experience or knowledge of what my next steps should be to inform insurance companies of this. I have never dealt with any billing issue THIS bad. My client and I are willing to pay for contract work in getting this issue resolved. If anyone is interested in helping please let me know!
