I work for a cancer and Hematology clinic. We were seeing a patient during pregnancy for a hematology related complication. We did not provide pregnancy ccare or post partum care. She came in to the clinic as a follow up after the six week puerperium period. I have no idea even after reading the guidelines how to code this visit....



Thrombocytopenia associated with pregnancy, possible chronic ITP. She is now over six weeks post delivery.
Leukocytosis with Neutrophilia associated with pregnancy. She is now over six weeks post delivery. Leukocytosis and Neutrophilia resolved with delivery.
 
If she is outside the puerperium and not having any complication/side effects related to the issues during her pregnancy, I would probably just use Z09, Z87.59, Z86.2
