Hi.


Dx: Buttock Cellulitis
Px: Needle puncture to center of area, returned blood, no pus.

I'm thinking of coding 10060 for this procedure. However, I'm not sure if I should use any modifiers because there was no pus drained. Can anyone please help me? Thanks. :)
 
If the procedure is completed as designed then you the procedure as completed with no modifier. It is not incomplete just because the provider did not get the desired result.
