We have a pt that had tissue expanders put in about 4 months ago. Her grandchild jumped on her and gave her a hematoma of the breast. Our doctor is going to go in and deinflate (maybe remove the tissue expander) take care of the problem. Then either reinflate (put the tissue expander back in). We were looking at the CPT code 10140 for the hematoma. But I am stumped on the deinflate and reinflation of the tissure expanders. Does anyone have any ideals for me? Thanks

Wouldn't you use 10140 along with....

11971 removal tissue expander
11960 insert tissue expander
