Hi! I am new to OB and I am hoping someone can assist me...
Pt had a massively large, greater than 250 gram cervical fibroid removed.
He 1st did a exploratoy lap. The Uterus was relatively separate from the fibroid. Both overy & tubes both look normal..Because of the nature of the mass, we decided to take the infundibulopelvic ligament on the pt's right side & continue to shell out the fibroid working around the lateral to the medial side and posterior. Eventually was able to elevate the to facilitate better exposure.
We used Haney clamps, clamps and clamping, cutting and suture ligation with 0 Vicryl to remove the fibroid from the cervix in a meticulous fashion.
I see a code for uterine fibroid but not cervical...Help
