Can someone tell me the difference between a pap, wet mount kok, and a wet mount w/ wet prep and what each one test for?:confused:
 
The Pap Smear is for cervical cancer(s) screening, or follow up to postivie results from the screening. (there could be many) Your wet mount(s) are going to be testing for a number of things...vaginitis, yest infections among other things. BEST place to ask these types of questions would be either the lab performing them or the provider who requests the lab to be done.
